Position:
We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support our sales organization in demonstrating the value and capabilities of our software solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with the sales team and prospective customers to understand their business needs, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that drive successful sales outcomes. This is a remote position, but you may be required to travel 10-20% of the time.
Responsibilities:

Work within CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).

Working in emerging technology and continuous learning.

Identify common high-value processes within the industry and mobilize the team to create plays, assets, and approaches to maximize impact in deal cycles.

Drive end-to-end sales activities in deals and create strong value propositions.

Review and approve technical and pricing language match contract terms and length. Ensure leadership is aware of the all opportunities and risks

Consistently evolve skills to be able to advance and grow deal cycles, continuously assessing the patterns of deals, and identifying ways for the team to address any bottlenecks.

Proactively spot and correct any issues that could affect the lifecycle of deal.

Coach customers to be product experts and enable their teams on FileOnQ best practices so they become increasingly self-sufficient.

Partner closely with other cross-functional team members to translate business needs and product requirements into new solutions for customers.

Become a trusted advisor in Physical and Digital evidence systems or other public safety platforms.

Prepare and negotiate Statements of Work (SOW)

Act as a technical resource for key accounts and high-impact opportunities.
Desired Experience:
- Technical and software application support within law enforcement

Writing and negotiating Statements of Work (SOW)

Customer-facing, account management, or strategic consulting organization.

Working within a fast paced environment and ability to prioritize tasks

Experience collaborating with customers in at least one of the industries above, encompassing knowledge of prevalent systems and processes.

Partnering closely with other cross-functional team members to translate business needs and product requirements into new solutions for customers.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).

Experience with product-led growth or enterprise account strategies.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks like CJIS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.

Working in Cloud environments

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
